Nett's BlueMAX™ SCR systems are designed to control the emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) from medium and heavy-duty diesel engines in on-road, nonroad and stationary applications. The Nett BlueMAX system is a urea-SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system. NOx is reduced over an SCR catalyst through chemical reactions with a reducing agent (urea). The urea solution is carried in an onboard tank and injected upstream of the SCR catalyst. BlueMAX™ systems can optionally include either an active regeneration diesel particulate filter, or a passive catalyzed diesel particulate filter. Passive filters are generally used on engines run under heavy load, with active filters used on engines which have a lighter duty cycle.
BlueMAX™ SCR (NOx)
Nett's BlueMAX SCR system in stand-alone configuration for diesel NOx emissions control. The system uses an electronic control system to precisely calculate urea dosing levels for off-highway, on-road and stationary applications. The BlueMAX systems are typically configured as an OE muffler replacement for under-hood installation.![]()
BlueMAX ULTRA™ SCR + Active DPF (NOx + PM)
The BlueMAX ULTRA SCR system combines BlueMAX SCR technology with an active diesel particulate filter for combined NOx and DPM control of diesel engines with lower exhaust temperatures not suitable for use with a passive filter. The BlueMAX ULTRA uses a diesel fuel burner to regenerate the trapped particulates.![]()
BlueMAX PLUS™ SCR + Passive DPF (NOx + PM)
The BlueMAX PLUS SCR system combines BlueMAX SCR technology with a passive diesel particulate filter for combined NOx and DPM control of medium to heavy-duty diesel engines with higher exhaust gas temperatures. The BlueMAX PLUS relies on heat from exhaust gases to regenerate the trapped particulates.
BlueMAX NOVA™ SCR + Active DPF (NOx + PM)
The BlueMAX NOVA SCR system combines BlueMAX SCR technology with an active diesel particulate filter for combined NOx and DPM control of diesel engines with lower exhaust temperatures not suitable for use with a passive filter. The BlueMAX NOVA uses hydrocarbon injection to regenerate the trapped particulates.![]()
