BlueMAX™ PLUS-300 is an integrated SCR and Passive DPF diesel generator emission control system designed specifically for stationary diesel generators used in prime power, standby power, and continuous-duty applications.

The  generator SCR system injects DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) upstream of the SCR catalyst using an airless direct-mount injector. The urea decomposes into ammonia, which reacts catalytically with NOₓ to produce harmless nitrogen and water vapor. A NOₓ sensor upstream of the catalyst drives closed-loop dosing for precise control across all load conditions. An ammonia slip catalyst is standard on every unit, eliminating unreacted ammonia while also reducing CO and HC. 

No. The passive DPF in the PLUS-Series regenerates continuously using the heat of normal engine exhaust. No external heater, no forced regeneration cycle, and no planned downtime. This makes it well suited for standby generator applications where the engine runs at low load during weekly testing. PM filtration efficiency exceeds 90% even at low soot loads. 

The BlueMAX™ PLUS-100 is included on EPA’s Verified Technologies List for Clean Diesel. The PLUS 300 PowerGen system achieves 99% NOₓ, and 98% PM reduction based on current engineering performance data.
