Purchasing Agent

Location : Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (Hwy 401/403/410 Area)

Nett Technologies Inc. is a manufacturer of emission control and engine-related systems serving OEM and aftermarket customers worldwide. We operate in a practical, engineering-driven environment where execution, accountability, and attention to detail matter.
We are seeking a Purchasing Agent to support our operations by sourcing materials, managing suppliers, and ensuring reliable and cost-effective procurement. This is a hands-on role requiring strong follow-through and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, lead time, and cost
Request, review, and compare quotations
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
Prepare and issue purchase orders
Monitor inventory levels and determine purchasing needs
Track orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery
Verify incoming goods against specifications and purchase orders
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier data
Build and manage supplier relationships with a focus on performance
Identify opportunities to improve cost, lead time, and supply reliability

Qualifications:

Experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role
Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering environment strongly preferred
Solid understanding of supplier evaluation and negotiation
Experience working with ERP systems (inventory-driven environment preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organization
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and follow through consistently

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $55,000-$85,000, based on experience
Annual bonus
